Our model Isabelle Iles from a recently styled shoot can be seen wearing that lovely Jenny Packham dress. On an unrelated side note, a little blog hop from me today led me to a "love is..." post on Elizabeth Messina's blog. If you've been reading my blog post and I mean both the old and new, you will know that I'm a big fan of her work. The "love is..." picture thread that I've been posting on Mondays was inspired by a comic strip created by New Zealand artist Kim Grove in the late 1960's. I love the choice of imagery used. Peonies and Cake

A while back I had a photo shoot with a very talented photographer and overall one of the nicest people that I've met Anneli Marinovich.

I wanted to showcase two things that I love, flowers and desserts for the new lilybox website. The design had a hot pink and white palette with accents of my favourite peony; the Chinese tree peony. It was fun doing this shoot and I think we captured the crisp and fresh feeling of the spring season.

Hello and welcome to the new lilybox blog. The blog will keep you up to date with all of my work and happenings at lilybox design. I decided to close the old blog which pretty much started as a journal for me to capture my design thoughts but I'll still keep a few elements of my old blog such as capturing inspiring images for events, weddings and other celebrations. I also hope to share weekly spotlights about talented vendors in the UK industry but that spotlight might shift overseas a few times (hey! there's so much talent worldwide). There will be a lot of the things I love, flowers and candy and more flowers so I hope you drop by every now and again for a little inspiration and I can't wait to hear from you so be sure to leave a comment.
